Visiting a church can be a scary experience! But when it comes to Roseville Baptist Church, you can relax…
First, none of us “have it all together."—our church is not the place for perfect people. We are place for people to love God, grow together, and serve others.
Therefore, we’re not evaluating you.—when you walk in, we’re glad to see you! Don’t worry about having to “measure up” or “fit in.” None of us really measure up, and we’re all very different. Our family is very diverse, so fitting in isn’t an issue.
We don't expect you to dress up. —We don't have a dress code at our church. We want you to just come and enjoy the service.
We really are just regular, friendly people.--“Religious” people often come off contrived, artificial, and argumentative. We don't expect you to experience that at Roseville Baptist Church. We’re like you—working hard, exhausted, trying to make ends meet, fighting for healthy relationships, trying to make sense of a “hopeless” culture, looking for encouragement, and glad to have some good friends who also have faith in Jesus Christ.
A typical service at Roseville Baptist Church involves....
Opening prayer —We come together to acknowledge the presence of God in our lives and seek his blessing on our service.
Songs—We sing many of the traditional songs that you may have grew up singing and also some of the newer songs that are full of Biblical truth. The words to the songs are shown on a projector screen. You can join in with the singing or just listen.
Message—The pastor will teach the congregation from a Bible passage. The message will be interesting and relevant. Children will be dismissed at this time to go to "Junior Church" where they will be taught an age-appropriate lesson.
Invitation —We take time at the end of each service for reflection and decision. This is a personal time. If you have any prayer needs, you can pray with the pastor.
Offering—We take an offering as a way for us to worship God through giving. We do not expect our guests to give in an offering. So please do not feel any obligation. We do not ask people to come to church so we can just have them give in an offering. We want our service to a blessing to you.
Announcements—We take some time at the end of the service to keep the church informed about what is happening at Roseville Baptist.

Are you a parent of a small child? We have a clean and loving nursery available during the morning worship service at 10:00. All of our nursery and children's workers have been screened and background checked, so you can feel safe leaving your child in any of our children's areas.
